Service Description

This is a performance-based dog training program for dogs 5 months and older and includes 5 private, in-home sessions. Upon completion of your 5 private sessions, we will assess your progress. Once your dog has achieved competency in basic obedience, then we begin distraction training. This is accomplished with the help of other dogs and their owners. Everyone in these paired sessions has gone through the private sessions and is training for control with their dogs. The environment is a safe learning atmosphere and should be fun for you and your dog. When you sign up with K9 Leadership Training you become a member of a community of like-minded dog owners. As a community we reinforce the lessons learned in private sessions by meeting often. For private sessions, I travel to you and cover the following areas in Utah: Bountiful, West Bountiful, Centerville, Clearfield, Clinton, Farmington, Fruit Heights, Kaysville, Layton, North Salt Lake, Syracuse, West Point, Woods Cross, and surrounding areas. This package covers, but is not limited to: Dog aggression Resource guarding Separation anxiety Crate training Potty training Socialization Grooming Mouthing Recall, coming when called Toys Nutrition Introduction to leashes Impulse control Tricks Interacting with children Whatever else you can throw at me!
